Whoopi Goldberg is honoring Billy Crystal but remembering Robin Williams. The comedian, 68, took the stage at the 46th Annual Kennedy Center Honors to celebrate the “When Harry Met Sally” actor, but she got emotional as she brought up their late mutual friend. “I want to acknowledge the person who should also be standing here with me is our brother Robin,” she said. Whoopi took a minute to get her composure back but ended on a strong and loving note to Billy. “You are my family, you’re my big brother, and you have no idea what an honor it is to see you get your due. I love you. You’re a mensch. You’re a national treasure. National treasure. Billy, congratulations,” she said. Billy spoke to People on the red carpet ahead of the honors about his love for the late comedian. “I’m really feeling I’m missing my friend Robin tonight, very much so, because of all of what we did together. I know that he would be here, and he is. So it’s special, and a lot of feelings for me tonight,” he said.
